What Is Namman Muay®
Invented almost a hundred years ago, Namman Muay is one of Thailand’s best guarded secrets.
Translated from Thai; "Namman" means ointment and "Muay" means boxing, so "Namman Muay" means boxing ointment. It started as an ointment to help boxers fight longer, but now thousands of everyday Italians use it to live a discomfort-free life.
This special formula dates back to 1937 and was made by a herbalist, Thongtos Intratat. His goal in life was to help people using herbs and he believed that there’s a plant for every problem.
That’s why he experimented and searched for a formula that would let people live a discomfort-free life, regenerate faster after physical activity and loosen up squeaky joints.
The first to try his formula back in 1930 were his notorious Thai Boxers. But today thousands of regular folks like you use it daily.
We all spend years doing repetitive movements at work, we sit for hours on end in a bad posture, and cause stress on our bodies with intense workouts ...all of that causes lasting damage on bodies.
Our life is a constant struggle until one day we wake up and feel like we just finished a boxing match. We’re all boxers in one way or another. The older we get the more damage our bodies accumulate.
And that’s why Intratat developed his unique recipe with 3 key ingredients that can be found in plants. With this formula, you can DRAMATICALLY reduce any kind of discomfort, loosen stiff joints and soothe tensed muscles.
How It Works
Intratat’s original 1937 formula contained 3 key ingredients that are found in herbs. All of them have a very special history.
Namman Muay Cream with ingredient Thongthos spent years perfecting his formula before he discovered the precise quantities needed to provide fast and lasting relief.
Just take a look at the powerful ingredients used in Namman Muay Cream.
The first ingredient is Eugenol. It’s a pale yellow, aromatic oily liquid that functions as a natural anesthetic and a local antiseptic. It can be extracted from certain essential oils like clove oil, nutmeg, cinnamon, basil, and bay leaf.
But what’s incredible about it is that the ancient Romans and the Chinese have been using cloves (which contain a high amount of Eugenol) for centuries to treat discomfort and inflammation. You can find mentions of it as early as 226 BC!
The second amazing ingredient is wintergreen oil. It’s made by fermenting the leaves of a special aromatic plant called Gaultheria fragrantissima which is native to Asia.
This oil has been used in professional athletes for a long time for its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. One 2010 study in adults with muscle strain found that the oil provided a significant amount of discomfort relief compared to the placebo patch.
It’s even been found to provide relief from muscle or joint discomfort from sprains, strains, bruising, and backaches.
The third key ingredient is menthol. But don’t be fooled - everyday menthol is an amazing compound and one of the main active ingredients in most traditional cooling rub-in products used by athletes and the elderly alike. What’s interesting about it is that it doesn’t actually change the skin’s temperature; it creates a cooling sensation by attaching to a certain neuronal receptor.
So unlike the other two compounds, it doesn’t actually “remove discomfort,” but rather it “maxes out” neurons and causes desensitization to discomfort. Essentially, it creates a pleasant diversion from discomfort or other irritations.
Which means it works hand in hand with wintergreen oil and eugenol to increase their potency.
