What makes it special
The Rashguard Halfsumo Bukon short sleeve is designed for those who approach every workout with a warrior spirit and determination. A technical garment that combines Comfort Gel, high performance, and a powerful aesthetic, ideal for Jiu Jitsu, MMA, wrestling.
Made from a Polyester and spandex blend, it ensures a snug fit, excellent moisture management, and protection from scratches and abrasions during grappling and ground work. The flat anti-chafing seams reduce the risk of irritation, while the perforated mesh side panels ensure high breathability and a feeling of constant Comfort Gel.
The graphics, printed with sublimation, keep colors and details unchanged over time. The design features hand-drawn illustrations in Irezumi style, an expression of the Halfsumo style. “Bukon” means warrior spirit: inner strength, honor, and resilience. The illustration tells the story of a samurai that withstands within the jaws of the Kaijiu (the monster), a symbol of the ability to never give up, even in the face of overwhelming force. Pair the rashguard with the Bukon shorts for a coordinated look.
