What makes it special
The Rashguard Halfsumo Kimura short-sleeved is a tribute to the technique, discipline, and mechanical beauty of Jiu Jitsu. Inspired by the legendary Kimura lock, a symbol of technique surpassing strength, it represents the essence of control and precision on the tatami.
Made from a blend of Polyester and spandex, it ensures excellent moisture management and a snug fit: in this way the rashguard offers muscle support and control in movements, while protecting against scratches and abrasions during grappling. The flat anti-chafing seams prevent irritation and the perforated mesh side panels ensure high breathability even during the most intense workouts. The graphics are entirely sublimation printed, for intense colors and defined details over time.
The design features hand-drawn illustrations in Irezumi style, one of the first Halfsumo artworks, inspired by the lock made famous by Masahiko Kimura in 1951. Leverage, timing, and discipline: are the elements that make this submission iconic. Ideal for BJJ, MMA, wrestling and gym training, the rashguard pairs with the Kimura shorts for a technical and coordinated look.
